YOGA WITH ANANDI - TAUPO
Hello and welcome to Yoga with Anandi, a website here to help you find a suitable Yoga Class to suit your individual needs in the Lake Taupo area.
My name is Anandi Congreve and I have been teaching yoga for 13 years, since 1996, and am registered with the Yoga Alliance.
Since receiving my very first qualifications in teaching Hatha Yoga with props from Maggie Hughes (certified Iyengar Teacher in Pune, India). I have enjoyed teaching from 1997- 1999 at The Healing Child Oasis on Koh Samui, Thailand, then 1999-2001 at the Goa Iyengar Yoga Centre, Candolim, India, followed by Bannantynes Health and Fitness centre, Edinburgh from 2000-2004. My husband and I moved to Lake Taupo in 2005 and I have been teaching group classes, from beginners to more advanced at the REAP Centre in Titiraupenga Street, Taupo. Last year I established a fully equipped Yoga Studio at my home here in Taupo, where I now teach small groups and private sessions using props and wall ropes.
I enjoy continuous study and meditation and often attend workshops around New Zealand. Last year I received my diploma in teaching Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga from John & Lucy Scott (certified Ashtanga Teachers) from Stillpoint, Nelson, NZ. I have since been sharing this wonderful practise with my students in Taupo.
