I opened the Dog Box at its current address in April 2008 prior to that I had set up a small store at the rear of our cafe The Dog and Frog , so it was always going to be said that to find me I was in The Dog Box so to speak!

After selling the cafe I moved to my current premises, which is in the main shopping area at 40 High Street in Picton I am open 7 days a week with the exception of some Public holidays Christmas day, Easter Sunday and Anzac Day.

I have two wonderful part-time staff M'liss and Nicola and a Store full of exciting goodies from Quilting Fabrics patterns and threads Scrap booking papers, albums and embellishments Ribbons and buttons Books and Magazines Jewellery and beads New Zealand merino and Possum knitting yarns and patterns Pins needles patches and lots of haberdashery lines

So to say a visit to Picton isn't complete with out being in The Dog Box is a must
