We at Northtown Nutrition pride ourselves on offering a comprehensive range of natural solutions to combat the ‘unfriendliness’ of today’s chemically charged and synthetic environment in which we live.  For example, we have available a diverse range of sodium lauryl sulphate and paraben-free household cleaning products, body care ranges and personal hygiene items.  Northtown Nutrition also stocks a large selection of health foodie’s favourite items such as organic, gluten-free and low or no sugar products. For something out of the ordinary, or if you are looking for a gift or for an interesting highlight in your home, you will find unusual pieces of jewellery, crystals, wind chimes, Himalayan salt lamps, soy candles and incense.

We are an independent health store and we are locally owned and operated. This allows us the freedom to choose our product ranges carefully to select the best products and prices for our customers.  Whenever possible we try to stock New Zealand-made products to help support our own industry in this country.   We also offer a loyalty card system called the ‘Green Card’ on which we record your purchase and when your card’s balance reaches $250.00, we reward you with a $20.00 voucher to use in-store for any purchases.  Our loyalty system has no catches – only that you need to have your card with you when shopping at Northtown Nutrition when you make your purchases.  In addition to our knowledgeable, skilled and helpful staff we also have several natural health practitioners who hold clinics in-store weekly or monthly to help us to provide a more specialised service to our customers.

Practitioners are available for Nauturopathic and Iridology consultations, Quantum Xerroid System Body Scans and Jin Shin Jyutsu Acupressure – all services are subject to appointments only.

Northtown Nutrition can provide information and advice on which service may best suit you.  The newest addition to our team is the ‘MIGUN,’ which is an automatic thermal massage bed.  ‘MIGUN’ incorporates acupressure, acupuncture, chiropractic, massage and far infared therapy to provide you with a deep, relaxing and soothing heat massage while also giving your spine a soothing stretch and stimulating the key acupuncture points, blood vessels and muscles while improving blood circulation. ‘MIGUN’ treatments last for between 15 to 40 minutes and are available in-store most days.
