Welcome to Hastings Christian Fellowship - also known as "The Station". Whether you're a regular church-goer or a first-timer who wants to find out more about the Christian faith, come along and enjoy fellowship in a friendly and non-threatening environment.
We are a Bible-based church that is commited to obeying God's two greatest commandments: 1. To love the Lord your God with all your heart, mind and strength; and 2. To love your neighbour as yourself
Here are some of the things happening within our church:
We run our Church Services every Sunday from 10 am until 12 noon. Contact Pastor John (JD) Drower on 878 2940
We run Kids Church during our Sunbday services (for pre-schoolers through to Year 8s). Contact Trish Drower on 8787 2940
We run our Heebie Geebies programme for Year 7 and 8 kids, every second Friday night from 7 pm until 9 pm. Contact Pat & Chris Walters on 876 9227
We have a very active Youth Programme for teenagers, who meet every Wednesday night at 7 pm. Contact Steve Goodwin on 870 8575
We have a series of Women's Programmes from Bible Study groups through to Pilates classes. For Pilates contact Jess Gurney on 873 3038
Our men participate in various Men's Programmes including Accountability Home Groups, monthly breakfast meetings and more
We support a wide range of Outreach Ministries based overseas
We run our FREE Garage Sales several times a year to support our local community
Why Come to Church at all?
Very few people concern themselves with the spiritual issues in life, such as: 1. What is the real purpose of my life? 2. Is God real and what does he want from me? 3. Do I know what will happen when I die? 4. Is there such a place as heaven and hell? 5. Do good people go to hell? 6. Why would God want anything to do with someone like me?
