HISTORY
Our award-winning restaurant was opened in 1989 in a beautifully restored art deco heritage building on Emerson Street in the heart of the art deco centre in Napier.
After two decades, Juju and Tom (owner/operators) continue to deliver the best and friendliest service and finest Pacific-rim cuisine - with a reputation for superb food and a wonderful atmosphere.
OUR CHEF
As a professional chef, Tom has over 25 years experience in preparing a wide range of dishes. Our specialty is New Zealand seafood and Angus beef. Charlies dare-to-be-different and innovative cuisine, executed with care and flair, puts the emphasis on simplicity and flavour.
SEASONAL HOURS
During summer we offer lunch, dinner and and late supper.
During winter we are open for dinner only.
We are environmentally friendly and it is our aim to offer sustainable, free-range farming practices.
